such an amazing place!! i go there all of the time, and their food is actually amazing. highly recommend trying the gulf shrimp tacos! also, the place is so cute! the staff and the owners are such sweet people! 100% recommend :)

It was mine and my husband’s first time after we have been following Heirloom Taco on Insta. We drove all the way from Gadsden and it was soooooo worth the drive! We each had a taco plate with different tacos. I had the fried chicken, carne asada and the birria tacos with pinto beans and Mexican rice. It was awesome. I also ordered the tastiest spicy mango margarita and my husband ordered the oatchata and that was delicious as well. The staff was also very kind and accommodating. We loved the decor and the location! All around, very great spot! We will be making the drive back!

Found this gem and glad we did. Great selection, friendly and fast service, and can’t stop thinking and talking about the food. Not sure when we’ll be back in Jacksonville, AL but this is a Must Visit!! Do yourself a favor and go!!!

We stopped by again for lunch, and we're not disappointed. We ordered the build your own nachos, a Carne asada taco, a chorizo taco, the elote, and the seasonal margarita flight, which had strawberry, blackberry, prickly pear, and caramel apple flavors. Gotta say I was really shocked at how good ALL of those margaritas were. The nachos were piled high, no skimping on toppings there. The tacos were on point with from scratch corn tortillas. The elotes were my favorite, as usual. Everything came out quick and at the right temp, fresh, and delish. I know we'll be back again later. Pardon the missing bites in the pictures, I forgot to take pictures BEFORE digging in!

I've been to Heirloom Taco many times since my son started JSU a few years ago. If they are open, that is where we always eat when we visit him. Great menu selection for everyone, even my husband that is vegan. The tortillas are homemade and the other ingredients are good quality. I've not been disappointed. Don't forget to order Duros. They are delicious!! Here is this last time we ate. Overlook the fact that we had started to eat. Looked too good to wait. Today we got duros (mostly to take to go) chips and salsa for appetizer, I got the loaded taco plate with asada and al pastor tacos and substituted for brisket fries. My son got the HT burrito plate with rice and beans. The menu pictures are from their Facebook page and prices may not be the same, but menu looks the same.

I’ve eaten here for 3 years and I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad experience. Their customer service is amazing. I’ve tried almost everything on their menu and they never disappoint.

Literally everything is fantastic. Homemade tortillas, fresh & colorful ingredients, an authentic menu with something for everyone- low carb, gluten free, vegan...with creative little touches like mango on the gulf shrimp tacos. Picky eaters? They have the basic staples like bean burritos and cheese quesadillas too. I’m not sure if they still do breakfast on Friday mornings, but I loved when my schedule would permit me to pop in for a breakfast burrito. I’ve never had anything that disappoints- everything is seasoned well; nothing is scorchingly spicy and it’s always so fresh and made to order. Portions are definitely ample. Staff are always friendly and seem to enjoy being there. Decor is bright and cheery; it’s easy to forget I’m in small town Alabama. There are only 3 booths, but the table and chairs are comfortable enough and allow for larger groups if necessary. I love the patio seating, which is dog friendly. It’s right off the square, so it’s easy to walk around and visit other business or window shop before or after; even get your order to go and enjoy your food in the park in the square. I can’t brag on this place enough; it’s a whole vibe. Every time I go my native southern Californian heart leaves happy- Heirloom is like a little taste of home

Had the 3 taco plate and as always they were fresh and very delicious. Added bonus was a local music group playing on the patio. Just wish I was able to eat here more often
